Prerequisites:
This course is aimed for beginner climbers, no prerequisite required!
NOTE: If the program option you're looking for is booked, please call the gym (902) 428-0043 so we can put you on a waitlist in case a spot opens up.
Can I stay and watch my youth?
We ask that parents leave during class times so that youth can be free to develop as individuals in a safe and positive environment with peers their age. If you would like to stay, we ask that you watch from the mezzanine of our gym for the first or last 15 minutes. A reminder that even if you are not climbing, anyone entering the gym past the lobby must sign a waiver.
Will my youth learn how to belay?
No, the aim of the program is to teach fundamental climbing movement through structured lessons and games. Instructors will belay when necessary.
What are my next steps after this semester?
Program advancement is age-based unless otherwise advised by the participant's coaches. Programs build on skills over multiple semesters so your child will always be learning and progressing even if signed up for the same level of class.
What is the goal of these classes?
The goal is to teach youth about climbing through structured lessons and games, and to create a fun environment with learning outcomes. Participants can expect to play a lot of games, participate in structured drills and lesson plans, and meet new pals!
Deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Switching to another day is never a guarantee as many of our program days fill quickly.
